I've washed several loads of laundry with this powder, and the clothes come out clean and smelling fresh:) not chemically scented fresh, of course, but that's why I like to hang my laundry outside. I don't use it for greasy, oily work clothes, but if I would take the time to soak them in Tahor's Illuminate, I'm sure the dirt would still come out. I'm planning to buy the bigger bag once my 7lb. bag is empty!
